SteriLite SuperThermic Polythene

Another diffused cover which has the benefit of an additive which holds the infra-red rays in the tunnel, so retaining the heat for longer, the bigger the tunnel the more effective this becomes. Ideal where you are looking to extend the growing season and where heating the tunnel. For vegetables, flowers, soft fruit, shrubs and bedding plants. For all crops which are to be heated. For vegetables, flowers and nursery stock. For late in the year, overwintered, or early crops. For Organic soft fruit.

Use Sterilite SuperThermic for all crops which are heated and where the advantages of the UV blocking IPM will be advantageous, for example organic growing. Great for vegetables, especially salad crops.

UV blocking is proven to reduce fungal and aphid attacks and give a greater foliage area. Specially designed to block the lower end of the light spectrum, aphids can’t see to fly and won’t colonise and botrytis and mildew are short-lived without the correct light.

Reflective properties of polythene can keep the tunnel up to 10% cooler than a clear polythene

Cutting charges apply as follows: 5-10m length = £20, 11-19m = £10, 20m and above = £0.

Please note that certain ranges have limited roll widths available. This may mean you need to buy a larger width which may result in an excess of material. Always choose a roll width which is larger than your cover width requirements.
