Asparagus recipe
Rinse thoroughly a bunch of asparagus, around 500g, cut off any tough ends. Slice the asparagus stems at an angle every 2 inches.
Bring to boil a pan of water, add the asparagus pieces, and simmer for two minutes. Drain off the water. Into a bowl pour two Tablespoons of extra virgin oil, and toss the asparagus in the bowl.
Add the juice of a lemon, and salt and pepper to taste
Suggestions
Sprinkle on top with a few grams of grated Parmesan cheese or Goat cheese
